NYCASE is proud to announce the continuation of the New Special Education Administrator Institute (NAI)

 

New York Council of Administrators of Special Education is pleased to announce a professional development opportunity for administrators new to special education or those that may want a refresher. Throughout the school year, NYCASE will be offering a series of informational sessions designed to support new special education administrators and CSE Chairpersons. Sessions are designed to provide basic information needed to survive your first few years as a new special education administrator with opportunities for networking with colleagues. Sessions are currently underway but you may join one or all of the sessions. All sessions are virtual via Zoom. Sessions are free and only for paid members of NYCASE.  You must be a member to attend. SPECIAL EDUCATION LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

Starting July 2024

The Fordham University Special Education Leadership Institute (SELI) will develop highly qualified educational leaders for school and district special education leadership positions. This program is offered in partnership with the Putnam | Northern Westchester BOCES’ Center for Educational Leadership. Topics covered include: • Special Education Practices, Services, and Issues • Management and Operations of Special Education Services • Vision, Integration, and Systems for Special Education Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will receive a Certificate from Fordham University.
